Car Repairs, Servicing & MOTs in Potters Bar from Collect Service Go

Potters Bar sits right on the Hertfordshire edge of the M25, and for many drivers here the quickest route to a garage worth trusting is straight up the A1(M). Our workshop in Welwyn Garden City is typically around 15 to 20 minutes from most parts of town, which makes the trip far easier than it might look on a map.

Why Potters Bar drivers choose to travel

When you’re so close to the capital, the choice of garages can feel like a trade-off between London-style pricing and a workshop that doesn’t give you much attention. We offer something different. We’re one of the highest rated garages in the area, and that comes down to being upfront about what your car needs and sticking to what you’ve agreed.

We’re RAC Approved and accredited by Trust a Trader and Trust My Garage, so our standards are independently checked rather than something we simply say about ourselves.

Getting to us from Potters Bar

Most customers join the A1(M) near the M25 and head north, with the Great North Road offering an alternative if you prefer to avoid the motorway. Parking is available on site, and if you’d rather wait than head home, our waiting area has wifi and free tea and coffee.

If you’re travelling by train, Welwyn Garden City station is a short hop up the East Coast Main Line, and we’re around a 20 minute walk from there.

What we look after

We work on all makes and models, with MOT testing across classes 4, 5, and 7. We also have a commercial ramp, so vans up to 3.5 tonnes are welcome, which suits the tradespeople and small businesses who work between Potters Bar and the rest of the county. Every job comes with a 12 month guarantee on parts and labour, and we use original equipment parts throughout so your manufacturer warranty stays protected.

Booking from Potters Bar

Send us an enquiry with your car’s details and what you need, and we’ll confirm a time that suits you. Courtesy cars are available for a small charge, depending on availability, which can be handy if you’d rather not spend the day without a car. If anything extra comes up while your car is with us, we’ll always speak to you before going ahead.

Worth the drive north

Potters Bar has garages of its own, but plenty of drivers decide a short run up the A1(M) is worth it for honest advice, fair pricing, and a team with a reputation to protect.

If your car is due a service, an MOT, or needs a repair, you can book online or alternatively, get in touch by calling 01707 332288 and we’ll get you booked in at our workshop on East Burrowfields.
